Terms of Service
Dent Heads
Effective November 6, 2026
Welcome to Dent Heads ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service apply to the dent repair services we provide and to your use of this website. By requesting an estimate, scheduling or receiving service, or using this site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or this site.
1. About these terms
Dent Heads provides vehicle dent repair services. These terms cover both our services and this website. If you sign a written estimate, work order, or other agreement with us, the terms of that document control for that job wherever they differ from these terms.
Our website and marketing systems are built and maintained on our behalf by Triton Commerce.
2. Our services
We repair dents, door dings, creases, and hail damage using paintless dent repair (PDR) techniques, at our shop on Lyndale Avenue South and through mobile service in the Twin Cities metro area. We also offer paint chip repair, paint transfer removal, paint protection film, and windshield rock chip repair. In these terms, "vehicle" includes cars, trucks, fleet and leased vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and aircraft we work on.
We do not repair rust or perform conventional body or paint work. If your damage needs those services, we are happy to refer you to a local body shop, but we are not responsible for that shop's work.
Not every dent can be repaired with PDR. Results depend on the size, depth, and location of the damage, the condition of the paint, the panel material, and any prior repairs, body filler, or aftermarket parts. Paint that is already cracked, chipped, or weakened may be further damaged during repair. We will tell you before starting if we believe a dent is not a good candidate for PDR or carries a higher-than-usual risk.
3. Estimates and authorization
Information on this site, including any pricing guides, is general and is not a quote. Estimates given from photos or over the phone are preliminary and may change after we inspect your vehicle in person.
Before we begin work, we will provide an estimate and ask for your authorization. If we find additional damage or need to change the scope or price during the repair, we will contact you and will not perform the additional work without your approval.
4. Scheduling and cancellations
Appointment times and completion dates are estimates. Repair time can change because of the extent of damage, parts availability, insurance approvals, or weather (for mobile service).
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice by phone, text, or email if you need to cancel or reschedule. We do not require a deposit for standard repairs.
For mobile service, please provide a safe, legal place to work, such as a driveway or parking lot where you have permission for us to park and work. We may reschedule mobile service if the location or weather does not allow us to complete the repair properly.
5. Your vehicle
By leaving your vehicle with us or having us work on it at your location, you confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorized by the owner to approve repairs.
Please remove valuables and personal belongings before service. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, except where loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
We may inspect and photograph your vehicle before and after service to document its condition. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or mechanical or electrical conditions unrelated to our work. For some repairs we may need to remove and reinstall trim, lights, or interior panels; we will take reasonable care when doing so.
We take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession. Our responsibility for damage to your vehicle while it is in our care is described in section 17.
6. Payment
Payment is due when the work is complete, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. If your insurance company is paying for part of the repair, you are responsible for any deductible and any amount your insurer does not pay.
As permitted by Minnesota law, we may keep your vehicle until the amount owed for completed, authorized work is paid.
7. Insurance claims
We can work with your insurance company and help with your claim, including providing estimates, photos, and repair documentation. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurer. We cannot guarantee that a claim will be approved or how much your insurer will pay, and we cannot waive or reduce your deductible.
If you ask us to work with your insurer, you authorize us to share information about your vehicle, the damage, and the repair with them, and to receive payment directly from them on your behalf.
8. Warranty
Paintless dent repair is a permanent repair. If a dent we repaired with PDR returns, we will repair it again at no charge for as long as you own the vehicle. Warranty terms for other services, such as paint protection film or windshield rock chip repair, are stated on your invoice or the manufacturer's warranty.
The warranty does not cover new damage, damage caused by accidents, weather, or misuse after the repair, or pre-existing paint conditions. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your invoice or the date of service.
Except for this warranty and any warranty required by law, our services are provided without other warranties, as described in section 17.
9. Vehicle pickup and storage
We will notify you when your vehicle is ready. Please pick it up within 5 business days of that notice. After that, we may charge a storage fee of $25 per day, and vehicles left unclaimed may be handled as permitted by Minnesota law for abandoned vehicles.
10. Website content, including AI-assisted content
The content on this site describes our services in general terms and is not professional advice about your specific vehicle. Some articles, service descriptions, and images are produced with the assistance of artificial-intelligence tools, based on information our team provides, and are reviewed by us before publication. We work to keep everything accurate and current, but content may contain errors or become out of date. If you find something wrong, tell us at support@dentheads.com and we will correct it.
11. Reviews, testimonials, and vehicle photos
Customer quotes and reviews shown on this site come from real customers who used our services and gave us permission to use their words. They describe individual experiences and are not a promise of your results. We do not pay for reviews, and we do not remove or hide reviews because they are unfavorable.
Before-and-after photos show real repairs we have performed, with the vehicle owner's permission. We remove or obscure license plates and do not publish images of identifiable people without their consent.
If you are a customer and want a review or photo of your vehicle removed, email support@dentheads.com and we will do so.
12. Intellectual property
The design, text, graphics, logos, and images on this site are owned by us or used under license, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view, download, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or distribute site content, or use it to train automated systems, without our written permission.
13. Communications
When you contact us or request service, you agree that we may contact you by phone or email about your request, estimate, appointment, repair, or insurance claim.
We send text messages only to people who have separately agreed to receive them on our form. Reply STOP at any time to stop. Message and data rates may apply.
Calls to phone numbers listed on this site may be recorded and transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy.
How we collect, use, share, and delete personal information, including how to ask us to delete yours, is described in our Privacy Policy, which governs over these terms on those subjects.
14. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, or unlawful information through our forms
- upload or transmit malicious code
- interfere with the operation or security of the site or attempt unauthorized access to it or to any system connected to it
- use our forms or phone numbers to advertise or solicit us or our customers for unrelated products or services
- collect information about other users of the site
15. Third-party services and links
This site uses third-party services for analytics, forms, scheduling, call tracking, and advertising, described in our Privacy Policy. It also links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third party, and your use of their services is governed by their terms.
16. Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site and our services. If you have difficulty accessing any content or feature, contact us at support@dentheads.com or 612-986-1171 and we will provide the information you need in another way and work to fix the problem.
17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
For our services, we will perform repairs with reasonable care and skill. Except for the warranty in section 8 and any warranty required by law, we make no other warranties about our services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, such as loss of use of your vehicle, rental costs, or lost time, arising from our services or your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim related to a repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair, or the reasonable cost to correct our work, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for our negligence or any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer under Minnesota law or the law of your state.
18. Indemnity
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the site, or inaccurate information you provide to us, such as information about vehicle ownership or authorization.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, or in conciliation (small claims) court where eligible, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the consumer-protection law of your state of residence provides otherwise.
20. Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Revised terms apply to services requested and site use after the effective date; the terms in place when you authorized a repair apply to that repair.
